Sakthi Mayi
My name is Sakthi Mayi, and I have a BA Hons. I love growing my own fruit and vegetables and making my own soap from natural oils. I like writing and teach meditation.
I care about the environment and especially the plight of the bees: Avaaz.org
My other works are Stranger in the Lift, which was published in the Telegraph and Argus, numerous spiritual writings, composing music for a Ballet Heidi and the Seven Trolls which was performed locally, and winner of the YTV calendar Royal Wedding Song Contest.
Another book Nicholina, a fantasy story about falling through a barrier into another world was published on 1st August 2011:
My husband died of cancer in 2010. He was given six months to live but lived two years. He was fit and healthy right up until the last couple of hours. This he attributed to the use of herbs. He documented this journey, hiding nothing and wanted it to be available so that it could help others. It is full of useful information which is hard to find. It is available for free download here.
